Finally, we received the draft lease for the Shek Kong new site in December 2025.

We waited for a long time, and there were moments of uncertainty and anxiety. Fortunately, with your support, we have been able to move forward step by step to reach this important milestone. This would not have been possible without you.
Although the new site is still an empty piece of land today, we are ready to start from the ground up and give our very best to complete the construction as soon as possible, so we can build a safe and comfortable new home for the animals.

At this stage, we are working closely with government departments to secure a new site that can accommodate all the animals in our care. We also hope the new site will allow us to host more activities related to animal welfare, helping the public build greater understanding and awareness.

At the same time, we remain committed to our no-kill, no-abandonment principle. Our goal is to provide abandoned animals with better living conditions and a life filled with care and dignity. From applying for land, to designing and building the new shelter, and eventually relocating, we will do everything we can to ensure that every animal is supported and able to adapt smoothly to the transition.
