Girl

Year of Birth: 2016

Lotus was a newborn puppy when she was found on the streets and sent to SAA.  Her nickname is Lin Fa (it is how cantonese pronounce Lotus).  She is a friendly playful dog who loves to hang around with people.

Lotus has a history of demodectic mange and suffers from chronic skin issues, requiring regular medicated baths and dermatology injections (e.g., Cytopoint).
Her ears are also prone to yeast infections, which demand long-term specialized care and frequent check-ups.

Regarding her mobility, she has degenerative joint disease, managed through periodic joint injections (Cartrophen), long-term joint supplements, and regular acupuncture sessions.

Medical history wise, she underwent gallbladder removal surgery (cholecystectomy) in 2025 and requires ongoing blood work to monitor her condition.
