Dr. Ruan has worked in Hong Kong and Macau for more than 7 years and excels in the
overall care of small companion animals including fish, birds, turtles, all reptiles, rabbits,
chinchillas, hamsters, all wildlife, cats and dogs. His expertise not only lies within surgery
and internal medicine, but also the holistic approach to animal care and behavior.
Dr Ruan flies all over the world giving lectures to vets at veterinary conferences regarding
nutrition, behaviour and diseases in small animals and exotics.

- Graduated from the University of Pretoria (SA) veterinary science (2003), and received
Honorary Colors Award (2003)
- Professional veterinary services provided in Australian Zoo, various renowned veterinary
